Assembling a Corner Section of Nookwall "Thick" Room Divider

Assemble corner section of Nookwall

Assemble corner section of Nookwall
  • Start by placing the fabric panel on the inside side of the wall

  • The corner pole is made to have the metal clips at all 4 sides of the block (rather than 2) so there will be clips on the inner faces of the blocks.

  • Place the fabric at the inner side (what will be the enclosed area) of the wall using the metal clips, then at the corner pole, turn the fabric 90 degrees toward the outside of the wall. See photos above.

  • The fabric panel on the inside side of the wall will be "L" shaped.

  • The fabric panel on the outside side of the wall will be straight and similar to the other sections of the wall.

Assembling Nookwall Pole

  • Place the spring in the shorter 3/4" dia tube (it will be delivered this way).

  • Loosen the twist lock on the 5/8"dia tube and the longer 3/4" tube. Extend out the 5/8" dia tube but don't remove it from the longer 3/4" dia tube.

  • Position the shorter 3/4" dia tube on bottom. Insert the extended 5/8" dia tube into the shorter 3/4" dia tube. Position the longer 3/4" dia tube on top.

Placing Nookwall Pole in Your Space

  • Set the pole in the location where you want it to be. You can easily adjust it later.

  • Put the top of the pole about 12" to 18" off of vertical from the bottom of the pole.

  • Turn the twist lock very tightly. It must be tight.

  • Push down on the top portion of the pole so it is not touching the ceiling anymore.

  • Bring the pole to vertical and let the top of the pole spring upward against the ceiling.
